Generation+

Starfish Initiative’s Generation+  is based on the 1996 groundbreaking research of James S. Coleman, and others thereafter, that proves that deepening relationships with the parents of Scholars by helping them work toward their own educational and career goals will, in turn, better support the educational, career/employment goals and the quality of life of families.

Generation+ provides wrap-around services and resources to adult parents/caregivers of participating Scholars or Scholar Alum. The Adult Learner/Earner will receive one-one-one educational resources,  employment-related and basic needs resources through partnerships with Generation+ partners that include:

✅ Employment Pathways/ Assessments
✅ Financial Literacy
✅ Job Referral Assistance
✅ Health and Well-Being
✅ Resume/Interviewing Workshops
✅ College and Career Fairs
